My movie was the Parent Trap. The movie is about Two long lost twins who trade places to try to get their parents back together. My poster resembles one of Saul's posters because of the cartoon look of them. However my poster has more colors than the posters by Saul Bass and is not quite as simple. Saul bass made very extraordinary posters that were famous for their simplicity. The picture below is one of the more simple ones he did.
I love your poster, I like how it fades from the kids and parents. And I like how it has an aspect of cartoon and real photo. The "the" is tilted which is nice to show the craziness of the movie. I also like how you incorporated the Walt Disney logo.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very nice aesthetic to your poster. Using a Saul Bass poster to compare it with will help you to understand the differences and similarities. you also use a 4 quadrant grid which gives it balance...the balance the girls are wanting in their lives.
